2014 ESC Radio Awards, May 17-25 – vote for your favourites!

ESC Radio Awards trophy

It’s ESC Radio Awards time again! The 37 participants of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, held from 6-10 May in Copenhagen, Denmark, will compete once again, and this time the international radio listeners have their say, not only viewers and juries from the 37 participating countries. For one week, May 17-25, you’ll be able to vote for your favourites from the Contest in four categories: Best Song,  Best Female Artist,  Best Male Artist, and  Best Group 2014.

The ESC Radio Awards are held for the eighth time this year.  Past winners include, among others, Alexander Rybak (Norway), Anna Vissi (Greece), Loreen (Sweden), Dima Bilan (Russia), Eric Saade (Sweden), Bonnie Tyler (United Kingdom) – all six of them in two categories -, Euroband, Yohanna (Iceland), Ani Lorak (Ukraine), Lena (Germany), Ott Lepland (Estonia), and Magdi Rúzsa (Hungary).

    2 questions come to mind. Number 1, Would Conchita Wurst be up for best Male or Female? Number 2, Did I miss something in Sweden’s song? I really didn’t think it was that good. Definitely not third place material. Just curious.
