Playlist update – check out our recently added tracks

While the memories of Eurovision Copenhagen 2014 are still fresh and several entries from this year’s competition are still enjoying chart success in various European countries, we’d like to put the focus on a few latest single releases by former Eurovision participants. Our recent additions to the ESC Radio playlist include tracks by Helena Paparizou (Greece), Ani Lorak (Ukraine), Sinplus (Switzerland), Robin Stjernberg (Sweden), Edyta Górniak (Poland), Milan Stankovic (Serbia), Jedward (Ireland), among others.

Sinplus - Love Is Free

While the memories of Eurovision Copenhagen 2014 are still fresh and several entries from this year’s competition are still enjoying chart success in various European countries, we’d like to put the focus on a few latest single releases by former Eurovision participants. Our recent additions to the ESC Radio playlist include songs by Helena Paparizou (Greece), Ani Lorak (Ukraine), Sinplus (Switzerland), Robin Stjernberg (Sweden), Edyta Górniak (Poland), Milan Stankovic (Serbia), Jedward (Ireland), among others. The summer season is about to start, and Sinplus from Switzerland have just the right song for you: Love Is Free (feat. Lady Chann) came out early last month and it gave the brothers Ivan & Gabriel Broggini their biggest chart success to date, peaking at #11 in the Swiss singles chart. Check out the music video here:

Don’t Hold Back On Love is the third single release from Helena Paparizou’s One Life album. The 2005 Eurovision Song Contest winner from Greece performed the song a couple of weeks ago at ‘The Voice of Greece’. Watch the performance here:

2008 ESC Radio Award winner Ani Lorak released a very touching ballad recently, entitled Malvy, a song about the cruelties of war and dedicated to all mothers of the world. Check out the video here:

At the end of April, Milan Stankovic who represented Serbia at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo (Ovo Je Balkan) participated in the first edition of the Pink Music Festival, organised by Serbian broadcaster RTV Pink. Milan’s performance of Luda Zeno achieved already more than three million views on youtube. You can watch it here:

Edyta Gorniak, Poland’s 1994 Eurovision representative and runner-up (To Nie Ja), which still stands as Poland’s best showing in the Contest, is out with a new single, entitled Your High. End of May Edyta performed the song at final of ‘The Voice of Poland’. Watch the performance here:

Free Spirit, the new and fourth studio album of Irish twins John and Edward Grimes, better known as Jedward (Ireland 2010 and 2011), is due to be released later this year. A first single by the same title came out mid May. You can watch the lyric video here:

Last week saw the release of a new single by Robin Stjernberg, Sweden’s Eurovision representative at last year’s contest in Malmö. Body Language is the title, and while waiting for the official music video, Robin released a video shot behind the scenes at the Body Language photo session. Check it out here:

Malta’s Chiara (Eurovision 1998, 2005 and 2009) visited Copenhagen for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest to present her latest single Mermaid In Love at EuroClub. Watch the performance here:

After the breakup of Danish band A Friend In London earlier this year, ex-frontman Tim Schou embarks on a solo career now. Tim was the host at EuroClub in Copenhagen, 4-10 May, where he also premiered his solo debut single Supernova. You can find it on our playlist and while waiting for the official music video you can watch this unofficial clip here:
