ESC Radio Awards 2026 – The Winners

ESC Radio listeners, friends and followers of the Eurovision Song Contest voted for their favourites from the 2026 Contest across three categories, Best Song, Best Solo Artist and Best Group.

Unlike last year, this year’s Best Song Award goes to the actual winning song of the 2026 contest: With 9.8% of the votes, Bangaranga, performed by Dara for Bulgaria, came out on top. The song was written by Anne Judith Stokke Wik, Darina ‘Dara’ Yotova, Dimitris Kontopoulos, and Cristian ‘Monoir’ Tarcea. It’s the second time for Bulgaria to win an ESC Radio Award since Victoria won the Best Female Artist category in 2020.
It was a very close race in this category: Finland’s entry Liekinheitin, performed by Pete Parkkonen and Linda Lampenius, takes second place with 9.6% of the vote, followed by Før vi går hjem in third place (9.4%), Denmark’s entry performed by Søren Torpegaard Lund.

The Best Solo Artist category saw another tight race among three acts, and Søren Torpegaard Lund finished in first place with 10.3% of the votes – the first time for Denmark to win an ESC Radio Award. Deltra Goodrem from Australia came second with 10.1% of the vote, and Bulgaria’s Dara finished close behind with 9.7%.

In Best Group, With 42.8% of the votes, Finland’s Pete Parkkonen and Linda Lampenius won a landslide victory. Runner-up is Croatia’s all-female band Lelek (20.9%), and metal band Lavina from Serbia came third (14.7%).

Congratulations to all the winners! We will get in touch with them to hand over the trophies as soon as possible. For the complete rankings of the 2026 ESC Radio Awards, see below please.
