In this competition we’re giving away three copies of the promotional CD single of Montenegro’s 2018 Eurovision entry Inje, performed by Vanja Radovanović. Each of the CDs comes with a pair of ESC Radio funglasses (red or blue). To be in with a chance to win, just answer the following question correctly:

Since Montenegro’s debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, on one occasion the country entered a song that was not written by Montenegrin or Balkan composers. Name us the entry (artist, song title) and send your answer to competition@escradio.com along with your full name and postal address by Sunday 1 July at 23:59 CEST. The winners in our “La Forza” CD-single competition

In last weekend’s competition to win a copy of the promotional CD single of Elina Nechayeva’s Eurovision entry La Forza plus ESC Radio funglasses, we asked you to name “the other Estonian entry that was not performed in Estonian or English language”. Actually we made a little mistake there – as some of you noticed 😉 -, since there were two other entries: in 2004 Tii, performed by Neiokõsõ in the Võro language, and in 2008 Leto Svet, performed by the comedy group Kreisiraadio in Serbian, with bits of German and Finnish. So BOTH answers were accepted!

And the three winners are: Mauro Marques Canhão Filho (Portugal), Anthony Ko (United Kingdom) and Rafał Szary (Poland), congratulations! Better luck next time for those who did not win, we will have more competitions.

We have another competition for you, and this time we’re giving away three copies of the promotional CD single of La Forza, performed by Elina Nechayeva for Estonia in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The CD comes in a cardboard sleeve and contains the ESC version, a dance remix – radio edit and extended edit -, plus the instrumental version. Each of the CDs comes with a pair of our ESC Radio funglasses (red or blue). To be in with a chance to win, just answer the following question correctly:

In the 24 years of Estonian ESC participation, this year was the second time that their entry was not performed in Estonian or English. , posted by Daniel Mourinho

After one week of voting, 2-10 June, we are happy to announce the winners in the 2018 ESC Radio Awards!
Listeners, fans and followers from all over Europe and other parts of the world voted for their favourites from this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, held in Lisbon last month. And here are the results:

The Czech Republic’s Mikolas Josef took the overall victory, winning Best Song with his self-penned Lie To Me and 25,21% of the vote, and the Best Male Artist category with 33,43%. Congratulations! Since the ESC Radio Awards were initiated in 2006, this is the first time for a Czech representative to win an Award, and the seventh time that an entry that did not win the televised Contest takes a double victory.

In the Best Female Artist category the trophy goes to Eleni Foureira from Cyprus (24,84%), and in the Best Group voting the French representatives Madame Monsieur finished on top (21,32%). For France it’s the second time in a row to win an ESC Radio Award following Alma’s victory last year as Best Female Artist.
