We have a new competition for you, and this time we’re giving away three promotional CDs of Austria’s Eurovision entry Nobody But You, performed by Cesár Sampson and winner of this year’s jury voting. The CD single contains the ESC version, karaoke and instrumental versions, and comes with a very nice 20-page booklet with Cesár’s biography & the song lyrics in various languages (English, German, French, Russian, Portuguese) and many photos, plus a sheet of removable tattoos. Together with each item we’re giving away a pair of ESC Radio funglasses, red or blue. To be in with a chance to win, just answer the following question correctly:

In the 51 years of Austrian Song Contest participation, several artists participated twice. There’s one artist however, who represented the country on three occasions. Send your answer with the artist’s name to competition@escradio.com along with your full name and postal address by Tuesday 31 July at 23:59 CEST. And don’t forget to mention which colour of our funglasses you would like, blue or red. The names of the three lucky winners will be revealed here on our website. Good luck!

He was one of the biggest sensations in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal – 22-year-old Mikolas Josef from the Czech Republic. With his song Lie To Me he finished sixth on the big night, making it the country’s best placing in the contest to date. In the ESC Radio Awards voting, held in early June, the worldwide listeners, fans and followers of Eurovision voted Mikolas on top in two categories, ‘Best Song‘ and ‘Best Male Artist‘. It was the eighth time that an entry that did not win the televised Contest takes a double victory in the ESC Radio Awards.

Earlier this week, Mikolas visited ESC Radio studio in Berlin, Germany, to receive the trophies and chat about his Eurovision adventure, his current activities and the upcoming release of the Spanish version of Lie To Me. The interview will air today Friday, 20 July, at 11.30 CEST, and be repeated at 19.30 CEST

It’s competition time again, and this time we have a very special collector’s item for you. The Georgian team issued a DVD-r of Iriao’s entry for Lisbon, For You, featuring exclusively the video clip of the song. The DVD comes in a nice triple gatefold card sleeve with the song lyrics on the back, both in Georgian and English. We’re giving away three copies of this item, each with a pair of ESC Radio funglasses, red or blue. To be in with a chance to win, just answer the following question correctly:

This year was the first time for Georgia to enter a song performed entirely in Georgian language. However, since the country’s debut in 2007, there was one entry with a Georgian part in the song lyrics. Name us the song title, artist and year, and send in your answer to competition@escradio.com along with your full name and postal address by next Wednesday 18 July at 23:59 CEST. And don’t forget to mention which colour of our funglasses you would like, blue or red. The names of the three lucky winners will be revealed here on our website. Good luck!
