ESC Radio Awards 2023 – The Winners

Between June 12-18, listeners, fans and followers had the opportunity to vote for their favourites of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. And here are the results:

Sweden’s entry scores a double victory winning the Best Song category with 20.3% for Tattoo, and Loreen winning Best Female Artist with 37.4% of the vote. Congratulations to Loreen and the songwriting team! It’s the fourth time for Sweden to triumph in the ESC Radio Awards poll: in 2011 Eric Saade won Best Song and Best Male Artist, in 2012 Loreen won Best Song and Best Female Artist, and in 2014 the Best Female Artist award went to Sanna Nielsen.

Second place in the Best Song category goes to Finland’s entry Cha Cha Cha (18.8%) by Käärijä who finished on top in the Best Male Artist voting with 35.1%. Third place goes to Due Vite (11.3%) by Marco Mengoni. Slovenia’s entry Carpe Diem performed by Joker Out finished in sixth place, remarkably higher than it did at the Contest in Liverpool last May. The five-piece band won Best Group with 30.1%, making them the first Slovenian act to win an ESC Radio Award. Germany’s act Lord Of The Lost came second (18.8%), followed by Teya & Salena in third place (11.8%)

In the Best Female Artist voting, Norway’s Alessandra finished in second place (11.3%), followed by La Zarra from France in third place (9.9%). Runner-up in Best Male Artist is Marco Mengoni with 21.3%, and the third place goes to Luke Black from Serbia with 10.2%.

Congratulations to all winners! We will get in touch with them to hand over the trophies as soon as possible. For the complete rankings of the ESC Radio Awards 2023, see below please.
