Switzerland wins Eurovision Song Contest 2024

Switzerland is the winner of the 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held at Malmö, Sweden, last night. With the song The Code, the 24-year-old singer and rapper Nemo came out on top in the combined jury and televoting. Croatia’s entry Rim Tim Tagi Dim, performed by Baby Lasagna finished in second place (winner of the televising), followed by Ukraine’s alyona alyona & Jerry Heil (Teresa & Maria) in third place, Slimane from France (Mon Amour) in fourth and Israel’s Eden Golan (Hurricane) in fifth place.

It’s the third victory for Switzerland in the history of the Contest. In 1956 Lys Assia won the very first edition with the song Refrain, and in 1988 Céline Dion won the competition with the song Ne Partei Pas Sans Moi.
