If you want to meet the epitome of a singer-songwriter, here he is: Michael Schulte, born in 1990 in Northern Germany, very close to the Danish border, and endowed with a terrific voice, he started writing music in his early youth. Michael gained nationwide popularity with his appearance in the 1st season of ‘The Voice of Germany’ in 2012, finishing third with the song Carry Me Home. Since then, he has released four albums, toured extensively, and is now set to embark on the adventure Eurovision Song Contest.

Michael visited ESC Radio studio in Berlin to introduce himself to the international fans and followers of the Contest and chat about his entry for the German national final, You Let Me Walk Alone and his long-standing enthusiasm for Eurovision… and perform some Eurovision music!
