Cyprus sends Christos Mylordou – San Angelos S’Agapisa

The Cyprus selection for this year’s ESC was one of the earliest of the season. In September 2010 Cypriot broadcaster CyBC organized a show to pick the singer first, and then asked composers to send in songs for the singer. Christos Mylordos won the ticket to represent the island in Düsseldorf, and in January, a specially formed jury picked the song San Angelos S’Agapisa, composed by Andreas Anastasiou with lyrics by Mihalis Antoniou.

It’s Cyprus’ 29th Eurovision Song Contest entry and it will be performed in the 2nd semi-final, at starting position #9.

About Christos Mylordos

Christos Mylordos was born on the 30th of April,1991 in Nicosia. He studied at first in a Greek school and later on he moved to an English school from which he graduated in 2010.

At the age of 13 he started piano, guitar and vocal lessons and had a degree from Royal School of Music and Rock school of Music.

He worked for 2 years as a professional singer. He took part in many festivals and contests and also he performed at many concerts and many shows in Cyprus

He has 2 CD singles which were launched in Cyprus and Greece.

His hobbies include tennis, swimming and informatics.
