Jedward receive ESC Radio Award – exclusive interview

They were one of the most spectacular acts at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, held in Düsseldorf in May. With their infectious entry Lipstick, Jedward finished a very respectable 8th place in the competition and gave Ireland its best result since 2000. In the voting for the 2011 ESC Radio Awards the Irish twins fared much better: The listeners voted them Best Group, and in the Best Song category, Lipstick finished in second place, behind Eric Saade’s Popular (Sweden).

We met John and Edward this past weekend before their Berlin concert to hand over the trophies and chat with the guys about their Eurovision experience, their new cd album Victory and future plans.
