Georgia is another country that opted for an internal selection instead of a televised national final. At the end of December national broadcaster GBP announced that the duet of Nodi Tatishvili & Sophie Gelovani would represent the country at the 58th Eurovision Song Contest and Thomas G:son, composer of the 2012 ESC winning song Euphoria, was commissioned to compose the Georgian entry. In February, G:son’s Waterfall, co-written with Erik Bernholm, was presented to the public.
