This year’s Greek national final was held on 18 February, when four acts competed for the ticket to Malmö. Decided by a mixture of jury and televoting, Koza Mostra feat. Agathon Iakovidis earned the honour to represent the country with the song Alcohol Is Free, composed by Ilias Kozas, with lyrics by Stathis Pachidis and Ilias Kozas. Except for the title the song will be performed in Greek language. For Greece it’s the 34th entry to the Eurovision Song Contest. Alcohol Is Free will participate in the second semi-final on 16 May at starting position #9.
