UNITED KINGDOM – Bonnie Tyler – Believe In Me

The British Broadcasting Corporation BBC sticks to their concept from the last two years to send an internationally well-established name to the Contest. In early March it was announced that Bonnie Tyler (Total Eclipse Of The Heart, It’s A Heartache, Holding Out For A Hero) would represent the United Kingdom at the 58th Eurovision Song Contest.

The title of Bonnie’s entry for Malmö is Believe In Me, written by Desmond Child, Lauren Christy and Christopher Braide. Songwriter and producer Desmond Child has worked with many big names from the international music scene, such as for example Ricky Martin, Cher, Bon Jovi, Kelly Clarkson. He also co-wrote I Was Made For Loving You for the rock band Kiss, some of Sakis Rouvas’ biggest hits (Ola Kala, Disco Girl), and he composed for Bonnie Tyler before (Save Up All Your Tears, 1988).
