Fabrizio Faniello, Malta’s two-time Eurovision representative, is out with a brand new album, entitled Unexpected. The album contains 13 tracks – six new songs and seven songs that had been digitally released before, but not on CD. The first single from the album, Life Goes On, came out in January, and last Friday 13th April, saw the release of the second single, Unexpected, accompanied by a music video. We’re giving away five signed copies of the CD album, each comes with a pair of our ESC Radio funglasses.

Fabrizio Faniello (born April 27, 1981 in Floriana, Malta) has been chosen twice to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest with his Songs “Another Summer Night” and “I Do”. After this success for Malta his singles and albums have been released in many other European countries. He scored a Top 10 hit with “I´m in Love (The Whistle Hit)” in Sweden, followed by releases in more then 30 countries and Chart-Hits in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Romania and lots of Asian countries, – in Indonesia he received the Award Trophy “Ambassador of the year” in 2010.

In Malta he won the International Music Festival in 1999 with “Sa L-ahhar” and in 2013 he is the winner of the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza with his song “Aħfirli Jekk Trid” and won twice the “Best Male Singer of the Year” Award.

For some, indeed, unexpected and even more this title of his brand new album is again significant. After some difficulties and personal problems, Fabrizio is now back, renewed, invigorated, clean, and much more spiritual and religious. His new album and some of his tracks speak a clear and often very private, intimate language, like his first single/video “LIFE GOES ON” (released 1st of January 2018) and his brand new single “UNEXPECTED”. His new album is a compilation of 6 new songs and 7 more from the last few years that have not been on an album before, such as “FIT-TARF TA ‘T-TRIQ” or two songs from the Maltese Eurovision Festival.
