French singer Anne Marie David is one of the most respected Eurovision contestants from the 1970s decade. In 1973, David won the Eurovision Song Contest for Luxembourg with the song “Tu Te Reconnaîtras”, written by Claude Morgan & Vline Buggy, and six years later she returned to the contest representing her native France at the 1979 ESC in Jerusalem with “Je Suis L’enfant-soleil”, finishing third behind Israel and Spain. Both her songs have become true ESC classics. Recently, Anne Marie released a new revamped version of her 1973 winning song, aptly named “Tu Te Reconnaîtras (Encore Une Fois)”. This new version results from a collaboration with German producer Mave O’Rick who also sings with Anne Marie the German duet version “Du Bist Da”. Both tracks are available for download on iTunes and amazon.

wonderful!
nice interview, and very interesting what Anne Marie tells about the contest in 1973. who would’ve guessed that Interpol played a part in it too! 🙂
She’s a great lady, but i prefer the original version of “Tu te reconnaitras”. This new arrangement doesn’t do the composition justice in my opinion
bonne chance, Anne-Marie! good luck with the new version and we hope to hear more from you!!
