Albania celebrates 10 years of participation in the Eurovision Song Contest this year, and as usual their representative was chosen through the country’s traditional Festivali i Këngës. Adrian Lulgjuraj & Bledar Sejko came out the winners with their song Identitet (Identity), composed by Bledar Sejko, with lyrics by Eda Sejko. Albania’s most successful Eurovision entry to date is the song Suus, performed by Rona Nishliu last year in Baku, finishing in 5th place. Can Adrian & Bledar measure up to that result? Albania will participate in the first semi-final on 14 May at starting position #14.
