BELARUS – Alyona Lanskaya – Solayoh

Belarus celebrates 10 years of participation in the Eurovision Song Contest this year, and once again their representative was chosen through the country’s national selection ‘Eurofest’, where Alyona Lanskaya came out the winner with the song Rhythm Of Love. In early March however, it was revealed that Alyona’s song was officially changed to the song Solayoh, written by Marc Paelinck and Martin King.

Belarus’ best result in the Contest so far was a sixth place in 2007 with Dmitry Koldun and Work Your Magic. This year, the country will participate in the first semi-final on 14 May at starting position #11. Just like the other 38 competing entries, Solayoh is available for download on iTunes and amazon.
