Spain once again opted for an internal selection to choose the country’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, and in mid December it was revealed that national broadcaster RTVE had decided for the Asturian band El Sueño de Morfeo. Their Eurovision entry Contigo Hasta El Final (With you until the end) was selected through a special televised live show on 26 February. ESDM’s self-penned song is Spain’s 53rd entry to the Contest and will be performed in the grand final on 18 May.
