UKRAINE – Zlata Ognevich – Gravity

For Ukraine it’s the 11th participation this year, and the country can already look back on quite a successful history in the Contest, with Ruslana’s win in 2004 (Wild Dances), two second places (Ani Lorak, Verka Serduchka) and three more top ten placings (Tina Karol, Alyosha and Mika Newton). Now it’s Zlata Ognevich’s turn to fly the flag for Ukraine at Eurovision 2013. Her song is called Gravity, it is composed by Mikhail Nekrasov and the lyrics were written by Karen Kavaleryan. Zlata Ognevich will compete in the first semi-final on 14 May at starting position #7. Will Zlata write another chapter of Ukrainian success in Eurovision?
