Sigga Beinteins competed for her native Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest three times: for the first time in 1990 as part of the duo Stjórnin (Eitt Lag Enn), second time in 1992 as part of the four-piece group Heart 2 Heart (Nei Eða Já) and once again at the 1994 contest as a soloist, performing Nætur. This year, Sigga performs the official Reykjavik Pride song Surrender, written by Swedish twin duo OneVoice, Ylva and Linda Persson. The song is available in English and Icelandic and will be performed live at Reykjavik’s Pride festival on August 9th. You can check it out here and find it on our playlist…

Freaky Fortune, the Greek representatives at this year’s contest in Copenhagen have joined Athens’ DJ and producer Nicolas Costa for the song In A World Without You. And if you wanna help the guys to make their dream come true and perform as the support act at Lady Gaga’s concert in Greece, you can presently vote for Freaky Fortune on the Greek website Jumping Fish http://www.jumpingfish.gr/FreakyFortune (ΨΗΦΙΣΕ = VOTE button). The website is running a contest to choose the support act for Lady Gaga’s concert. Meanwhile, here’s the lyric video of their latest single In A World Without You:

Even if Roger Cicero was not too successful when he represented Germany at the 2007 ESC with the song Frauen Regier’n Die Welt (placed 19th), his participation provided a significant boost to his already moderately successful career. Cicero has completed several very successful tours since then. His new single Du Bist Mein Sommer is taken from his latest album Was Auch Immer Kommt and is available for download since last week.
