Norway’s ‘Melodi Grand Prix’ 2016, the country’s national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, will take place on 27 February at the Oslo Spektrum, Oslo. Ten acts will be competing, and one of them is 35-year-old singer songwriter Laila Samuels with the song Afterglow.
Laila visited ESC Radio studio today for an exclusive interview. In the interview she speaks about her career as part of Norwegian girl band The Tuesdays, her Eurovision-related songwriting, and her plans for the performance of Afterglow at the Melodi Grand Prix final on 27 February.
